Rob Hopkins
INITIATOR OF THE INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT OF CITIES IN TRANSITION
He is a permaculture teacher and a major protagonist in the film Tomorrow.
He is also the founder of the vast international network that is shaping the Transition movement. Born in 2006 in Great Britain, this movement was initiated by Rob in Kinsale, Ireland, with his students. It was then developed in the city where Rob now lives, Totnes, England. Today, there are over 2000 Transition Town initiatives in 44 countries, including 150 in France.
Finally, he is an internationally renowned speaker, and he talks about the power of imagination to build a desirable future. His latest book, What if… we set our imagination free to create the future we want ?, is published by Actes Sud.
