Philippe Brassac
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF CREDIT AGRICOLE S.A.
After studying statistics and mathematics, Philippe Brassac joined Crédit Agricole in the Gard region of France, over 30 years ago. From the Provence Côte d’Azur Regional Bank to the Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole, he has spent his entire career within the Group and in May 2015 became Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A.
This career path has enabled him to forge essential convictions. Two driving forces, “utility” and “universaity”, have made Crédit Agricole the world’s 10th largest bank. On the environmental front, the Group was the first to announce in 2015 that it was moving away from coal ; and in 2019, the Group adopted an ambitious climate strategy.
