Nicolas Moufflet

PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER OF LYSAPACKAGING

The company Lysapackaging manufactures lightweight ecological containers made of plant material.

Nicolas is a plastics engineer, designer and moulder since 1995, he has carried out more than 4000 studies and designs for major companies such as DANONE, NESTLE, PERNOD RICARD, COCA-COLA, etc.

In 2000, he became aware of the pollution generated by plastics. In parallel to his professional activity, he decided to develop a new 100% vegetable and 100% compostable material.

In 2015, he created the company LYSPACKAGING and recruited a team to carry out his innovative project.

In 2016, LYSPACKAGING produces the first plant-based bottle made from natural co-products, which is compostable and EN 13 432 certified.

He registered his VEGANBOTTLE brand, which is part of a circular economy project from earth to earth. In line with his ecological convictions, he decided to neutralise the carbon footprint linked to the activity of LYSPACKAGING. It is with REFORESTACTION that he joined a reforestation programme: 2500 bottles produced = 1 tree planted.

Today, through his company LYSPACKAGING, he offers solutions for eco-designed bottles, jars, pillboxes, refills and closures; all made from plant material. It has developed a catalogue of standard products; its design office is also actively working on numerous customised projects for committed companies in the food, dietetic, cosmetic and cleaning sectors.

In order to bring this technology to other continents, LYSPACKAGING offers licenses to produce these ecological containers outside Europe; in 2021 the first foreign production unit was opened in Mauritius.

LYSPACKAGING was awarded the RMC SME Trophy 2019 in the Creative category. In April 2020, the VEGANBOTTLE concept was distinguished as one of the 1000 solutions of the future by the international initiative SOLAR IMPULSE FOUNDATION. In the same year, LYSPACKAGING received the WORLD PLANT BASED AWARDS.
