Frédéric Valletoux
MAYOR OF FONTAINEBLEAU, REGIONAL COUNCILLOR OF ÎLE-DE-FRANCE AND CHAIRMAN OF THE SUPERVISORY BOARD OF THE FRENCH HOSPITAL FEDERATION
Born in 1966, Frédéric Valletoux was a journalist before devoting himself to politics. First elected to the municipal council in 2001, he stood as head of the list for the 2005 municipal election, when the municipal team led by Paul Nizard had just resigned. He won the election on 16 October 2005 at the age of 39.
In 2010, Frédéric Valletoux became regional councillor for the Ile-de-France region, a commitment that complements his local action in Fontainebleau.
Since 2011, he has been president of the French Hospital Federation. Created in 1924, the FHF brings together almost all public health establishments, i.e. more than a thousand hospitals and 3,800 medico-social structures.
