Claire Bottineau

SUSTAINABILITY DIRECTOR, ELIS

She is CSR Director of the Elis Group, which she joined in 2021 after 7 years in the Sustainable Development Department of the BIC Group.

She is an engineer and has also worked as a Sustainable Development consultant at Ernst & Young.

Throughout her career, Claire has been committed to the transformation of companies through sustainable development, defining strategy and supporting teams on these issues. She is particularly involved in issues related to the circular economy and the development of associated business models, eco-design and the development of responsible products.

After experimenting with the circular economy at BIC, Claire joined the Elis Group, a service provider of textile and wellness products, whose business model has been based on the circular economy for over 75 years. The Group offers its customers products (e.g. bed linen, work clothes) that last a long time, are maintained, repaired, reused and re-employed to maximise their use and life span.
