Brune Poirson
DIRECTOR OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, ACCOR
She has always been committed to sustainable development and has a dual background in the private and public sectors.
She has held various positions in the Indian Prime Minister's Office and at the French Development Agency, before becoming Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for South Asia for Veolia.
In 2015, in parallel to her activity within a green startup incubator in Boston, Brune took part in the presidential and legislative campaigns. In the French government, Brune was elected Deputy of Vaucluse in 2017 and then Secretary of State for Ecological Transition where she promoted the anti-waste law. She is the first French woman to be elected Vice-President of the United Nations Environment Assembly.
In May 2021, Brune joined Accor as Director of Sustainable Development and became a member of the Executive Committee.
