Vincent Lemaire

PRESIDENT OF SAFRA, FRANCE

He joined the Albigensian company in 1992 as a young engineer who graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Arts et Métiers. He began his career at SAFRA as a production manager in the Industrial Bodywork department. In 1996, he was promoted to Deputy Managing Director of the company, alongside Serge Bodoira, CEO since 1978, and joined the shareholding and the Board of Directors four years later.

He was then appointed President of SAFRA in June 2007, and President of the SAFRA Group in June 2017. He is now at the head of the SAFRA Group, which consists of 4 companies in 3 business areas (Automotive, Public Transport Equipment, Fixtures and Fittings), employs 245 people and generates a turnover of 28 million euros per year. As the company enters the marketing phase of its flagship product, Vincent Lemaire is now focusing the SAFRA Group's development on international markets.

He was behind the launch in 2015 of the Businova programme, the first hydrogen-powered bus manufactured in France.
