Pierre Cannet

Pierre Cannet joined WWF in January 2014 to lead the climate, energy and sustainable cities team in charge of monitoring - from the local to the international level- the issues of energy transition, sustainable urban planning and the climate agenda through advocacy, expertise, and cooperation with local communities and businesses. In addition to these responsibilities at WWF-France, Pierre was appointed in September 2017 as a member of WWFInternational's climate and energy management team. He has a degree in International Business, Sustainable Development, fromSciencesPo Paris and is a Fluid Mechanics Engineer. He previously worked on several projects at the United Nations, such as preparing for the Rio + 20Summit in 2012.
